full of charm, 11/10. the difficulty is fine if you ask me, and even if you did die a lot, you get to see the single hardest death screen i've ever seen.

now there's no reason to criticize the obvious flaws because you're already aware of them, mainly, the ginormous room for development that there is, like better music, art, etc. but that's to be expected of you who have little experience in developing and if im being honest, this is insane for someone who had no experience whatsoever.

that being said i would implore you to explore safavid era music when you decided to begin improving the music, which i assume is not going to be soon.

overall i think you captured the most important aspect of a game, which is being fun. your game is fun, charming and super inspiring. the passion you put into this game is fully apparent. good luck brother.

Turk storm trooper goes pew pew

A nice game over all, I think it's a little bit hard and the controls take a little bit to get used to.

A bug I noticed is that the music repeats the same note when you transition between scenes. One way this could be fixed is by pausing the music before you switch scenes and unpausing it after the transition

I find it annoying with how the basic enemy attacks. The fire ball thingy follows you, which makes it hard to fight and block the attack at the same time.

Something else that I would make better would be to make the character jump stronger

Thanks for your feedback!

The bug with the music only happens in the html export but I think pausing the music when transitioning would definitely be a good solution.

Also this is essentially going to be the second level of the final game, so I tried to make it a little bit more difficult than the first one, which is why I think it might feel too hard if you're playing this one first.

Really fun and game nice art and style.

It feels chunky like old castlevania because you cant move while attacking which is an interesting design choice adding a bit of a challenge.

Thank you for playing!
Yeah I feel like not being able to move while attacking makes jump attacks more useful.
